Doctor Who info for Amateurs...

I want this to be a place to primarily: make friends who share the same interests, share information about Doctor Who that newer viewers (like myself) may not know, and most of all - have fun. This blog came to me in a dream [probably last year] and I, even as a 15 year old girl on the Autism spectrum, would like my words to be taken as seriously as the words of a 50 year old professor of major science who has no learning disabilities whatsoever. My viewers over at DeviantART and Fanfiction.NET take me seriously even know some of them (mostly over on DeviantART) know about my Aspergers.

I want this to be open for all fans of the Doctor. From the oldies who have been watching the show since it first started and have pushed the tradition through the generations (like my mum), to the newbies who only started watching the show when it came back in 2005 and would like to think they also know something about the old era but probably don't (like myself). This fandom is open to all, and we as self-confessed semi-new viewers feel a little left out when old viewers are talking about something like one of the earliest episodes. Oh, most of us probably have enough knowledge [when together] about the New!Who era that could possibly rival the show's writers themselves, but it wouldn't hurt to know a little more. For instance, I write allot of Doctor Who fanfiction and I'm not afraid to say so, but in one review the reviewer said that they'd never knew that there were 11 Doctors before they read my fanfic, and I can totally sympathize; nobody, not even any Old!Who viewers, told me that there were 11 Doctors (and even that the Doctor regenerates) so when I found all this out it was quite a shock and it kind of put me off the fandom a little because my fellow fans don't have the foresight to help newer viewers along.

Anyway, enough of my ranting, I just want to say that this blog came to me in a dream and I really hope it becomes big but it probably wont. I have low expectations and not allot of time on my hands, and I also now want to learn how to cook - I'm starting off with something simple, Tomato Soup. I already know how to bake quite well, I just follow the instructions and have been doing it for years (I've only recently started doing it without my mum, but it gets easier after the first few times and I even know the basics of making Pizza.)

I'm doing this all from my netbook (as my computer has no monitor) and I hope to god that someone, anyone, reads and contributes.
I'm Ponella (Rosie Collison) and I'll be your blogger for this evening.
